TRIO MIKROKOSMOS | piano trio
Trio Mikrokosmos quickly earned a reputation as one of Hungary’s most exciting chamber ensembles. Violinist Zsófia Fóris, cellist Boglárka Forgó, and pianist Áron Lescsinszky approach chamber music with commitment and vision, with a fearless sense of humor. Despite their young age, they have already earned invitations to prestigious domestic venues, awards, and competition successes.
They have performed at renowned locations such as the Müpa Budapest, the Solti Hall of the Liszt Academy, the Concert Hall of the House of Music Hungary, the Pesti Vigadó, and the Budapest Music Center. The trio has also appeared internationally, performing at Stockholm’s “Kulturnatt,” the 32nd Young Prague Festival in the Czech Republic, and in Germany.
They are first-prize and audience award winners of the Weiner Leó National Chamber Music Competition, first-prize and special performance award winners of the National Chamber Music Competition, and made their mark at the Premio Trio di Trieste international chamber music competition.
Currently, they are final-year master’s students at the Liszt Academy, studying chamber music with pianist Péter Kiss.
